Natural-Selection website getting stronger!

Well, it's been 13ish months since the site went down due to hacking attempts, and they have released a beta forums so that people who had an account years ago *I signed up in Sept 04...and I got on, so ya*...have an account! Just log in, and all should be well. You shoulda got something as an email to the forum..you need a UN and PASS that was sent via emails.

All in all, this means it's all comming closer! Boy, I can't wait for news on NS:S

Ahhh, the good ol' days. Too bad I never got good at the game. I just have piss-poor aim while trying to shoot skulks and fades, but for some reason, I can't seem to dodge the pesky bullets when I'm kharaa.

I used to play NS religiously, and even more so when Combat appeared.

I won't be playing it now until its released on Source, but its still an amazing game.

It has taken far too long to get the site working again. He needs to get a better web developer, but I guess its too late for that now when its starting to pick up

Agreed... While I think combat worked in a gameplay aspect, it really ruined and destroyed a lot of the NS community. Nobody wanted to play the amazing and epic but long games of vanilla NS...

Oh, and yes 1.04 was the _best_. After 2.0 it just slowly started to go downhill.

Lerks started to become less of a skill thing (I even remember a clan devoted to those who could master the art of lerk flying) and overall things became way too noob friendly, and the games just got done too fast...

Hopefully NSS or any other new NS project will bring back the amazing factor of NS vanilla!

Agreed. They need to build normal NS back to what it was. To the times when Onos' were hard to get and actually meant something.

Combat just split the community. Even though I hated it I spent ages on a combat server with a rollthedice mod installed because I was bored of the current vanilla NS.

Hell yes the new site with new NSS info is coming out!! :thumbs: I only play NS now only if Link is playing. Other than that it's BF2 or if that is having problems then its CSS. But yeah I will get NSS and Constellation ASAP! :E
