Ok I need some advice, I'm not satisfied with the current performance of my pc and I think there are only three options left right now. First here are the essentials:

Evo 4000 Workstation:

Pentium® IV @ 2.2 Ghz
Intel® 845 chipset, 400MHz FSB
1024 DDR PCI2700
GeForce® 4 MX 440

-overclock the cpu
-upgrade: P4P800 & P4 2.4C & Zalman 7000cu (then OC)
-wait

I just got my paycheck and I have a budget of 350 euros. I don't to spend it all on one graphic card (Radeon 9800 pro that is). What do you suggest?

hrm, i dont know euros, but i suggest a new video card.

well if your looking to go the upgrade to a 2.4c route, i would recommend looking at an Abit IC7-Max3 ..it looks very sweet.

remember ......you will need to upgrade your power supply also.

Upgrade your computer first.....then your gfx card.....thats what i would do.

i agree with the rest about the video card, dont mess with ur cpu, its great how it is now :D

ya, everything except the video card is fine, i suggest the RADOEN 9600, good solid performance that hangs pretty close to the big boys. also about $158 (american dollars)

Your cpu/mobo are fine. You video card is cripping you right now.

I'd suggest a radeon 9500 PRO if you can find one, otherwise get a 9600 pro (not powercolor thouhg, they're underclocked).

Euros are the same as dollars. Euros is 1,4 cent more powerful than dollar.

just get the graphics card.
youd have to get pc3200 ram with the p4c
someone suggested a ic7max 3 which is one of the most expensive motherboards dont bother

just get the 9800 and once the new chips come out from intel get them later for christmas or something
