The second defense situation where you have 3 turrets and are assaulted from all directions is becoming a real pain in the arse. Anyone have any suggestions?

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Tip #1: Try to stay calm when you lift up the kicked-off turret. If you are nervous, you are likely to throw it again.

#2. Use gravity gun on the manhacks (if you havent done so already)

#3. Run Around... There is some ammo in that room which you can use.

First, cover three doors with the turrents (one each) set them far apart so one granade won't get two of them. Set it as far away from the door as possible without them being too close. Otherwise use your most powerfull ammo to keep the one free exit clear and save a lot. When you hear the constant beeping, you'll know you have to pick and reset them. If you are good enough, you can run back and forth throwing back the granades with the gravity gun.

OR. Get in the small Cell and setup 2 turrets inside like this / \ covernig rhe opposite arc of their positions. Then place the last turret on the Bed/Bench aiming out the door. If one of the ones at the door gets overturned, the one on the bench will cover you while you reset them. It's alos a fine idea to grab a couple of barrels to reinforce teh door turrets so they are less likely to be knocked down.

And yes, use the zero-point gun on the hacks and 'nades and all will be fins and dandy. You will never have to fire a shot. 8)

Yell as you shoot soldiers!

Several people have posted some pretty "innovative" ways to beat this sequence. The coolest one is to get up in the cell on the upper level with the turrets and laugh until its over (just need to whack a few hacks and kick a few grenades back down).

Another guy said he hunkered down in one of the cells downstairs and held the turret gun in his hands the whole time. Said it worked pretty well.

You *can* beat it by just running around like a madman and shooting anything you see (I think the shotgun kills them fastest), but it took me a lot of trys before I beat it this way.

Thanks for the tips guys! I eventually got past it by hiding in one of the cells and putting up all the turrets so they covered the one opening. It was still pretty difficult as I had to be on my toes in order to toss out grenades and hacks.
