Ok Im abput to make a mod or try anyway and im reskinning the npc's to look like romans and barbarians.Do I have to reskin or model them?

well thats really up to you. reskinning the hl2 npc's to look like barbarians might be a tad hard (more like impossible) though.

I assume you dont have any experience with modeling? I suggest you try coming up with a different idea that is more modern. soem of the npcs only wear shirts and trousers. You could re skin that for something more modern. Then when your more familiar with the engine you could look into some modeling tutorials etc.

Well Ive decided to make a fantasy now........So Im going to use the models from pirates vikings and knights mod instead.Works easier that way..........Now I just have to learn how to make npc's and script's and blahhhh..I should just get someone else to do it for me.

you didn't really ask a question in your last post. btw ripping models from other mods is quite illegal and frowned upon by the community . you need to get a good 3d modeling application and learn how to model.

Also if you just rip models from another mod all you will acomplish is making a shitter mod using the models from a much better mod. What is it that you really want to accomplish from this?
