hey guys if you will recall i had been posting about buying a new machine. WELL it turns out not only does my new computer have the latest and greatest gizmos and gadgets but it also doesnt boot the monitor. To be more specific, i turn my new computer on, all the pretty led lights light up, fans start whizzing and its exciting. However the monitor doesnt do anything it just sits there, Yes ive pressed the button its on, my screen isnt black its says:

Check your cables and connections, etc.

So i rechecked everything all the little plugs you need to plug in, i took the G-card out like 3 times and put i back in. NOTHING

Oh and one last thing, when my computer turns on, the little speaker doesnt make a beep. Ive tried numerous configurations to see if maybe i put it in backwards. But no still doesnt work. THIS ****ING SUCKS!;(

haha. I made the same exact mistake when building my machine nearly exact as yours. Don't feel so bad. :p

**** me, nice pc too :) glad you got it working, that must have scared you shitless!

yeah the power connecter to the cpu had 8 pins and the mother board had only 4 pin reciever so i was kinda confused till i found these directions in chinese with a picture. THANK GOD FOR MY LEGO days i figured it out at like 12 am and got it to work. I was going to be so pissed if i had a faulty card or mobo.

OH GOOD NEWS it runs at about 30 degrees celcius, with stock cooling. now to try to OC my processor.

hey you got the soprano case ..a few questions ..how many case fans you have? and where ...is the soprano loud with your components? (the evga 7800gt is notoriously loud, sounds like a hoover in my pc)

I have the same psu as you ..I'm loving it so far
