I haven't played HL2 on the Xbox, but I can't help but wonder how hard it is to drive the buggy and boat and shoot in another direction at the same time

What controller did you get? I am in the market for a new one. Right now I have this shistey Microsoft Sidewinder Freestyle Pro. I just started playing Madden 06 with this thing and really miss the feel of the PS2 controller in my hand.

hmmm if its possible to wire a regular xbox control into a usb port,is there anything stoppping me from doing the same with a original NES control,or an old atari joystick? hmmmm.only one way to find out

It was either this (buy an xbox controller and wire it up), or one of my old PS2 controllers into an LPT. I went to radio shack, and this turned out to be cheaper.
They also had a converter (PS2 to USB) at radio shack for even less than everything I needed for the xbox controller, but I figured, where's the fun in that
