This is very uninteresting compared to the mystery of Merc's board screenshot, but I found a new detail in the E3 2004 details. For all those who have the Gamespy Full Video package (both sets from both booths) go to 13:29. For everyone else, it's the first scene from the Vivendi booth -- when Gordon is going through the apartment and all those people are devastated from the soldiers ransacking everything. When Gordon turns before going up the stairs, a soldier is going down the hall. If you pay close attention, you can see two figures running behind him and darting into the room you were just in. Are they freedom fighters liberating the building, and that is why you are pulled into a room fifteen short seconds later?
I think this is the case. I bet you get involved in this whole thing, the soldiers capture you, and then put you in jail -- which we've already seen from E3 2003...just my two cents.
