It presents so many new mysteries.
Like for instance, if the Black Mesa incident took place in 200X, then how is it that Babel Research was supposedly making computer-brain interfaces in 2017? (according to the copyright at the bottom of the page, the site was made in 2018) Wouldn't the Combine already have control of Earth by that point? In the very least, the world would be in chaos dealing with the portal storms.
What's the deal with that black cat symbol that keeps appearing at the bottom left of the page?
What's the "august 6th incident"?
Why are the Black Mesa symbol and the Aperture Science symbol side-by-side as if they were partnered?
