You'll always be playing the game with three other characters, be they bots or humans, and, as we mentioned above, players can hop in and replace one of the bots at any time. Speyrer also mentioned that the game will have a "get up and make a sandwich" feature, allowing you to step away while a bot takes over your slot. If what we've seen of the bots (and what we know about our friends' skills) is any indication, sending all our friends off to make sandwiches could prove to be a winning strategy.
:O

win!

Man, yesterday I really wanted this game. Now I really, really want this game. This is like torture until Nov. 20th. ;( I have never wanted a game this bad since maybe HL2? Didn't notice any difference at all and it never crossed my mind it was console vids. *
In addition, there were strong hints at a flamethrower coming not long after launch.
BZZZT MY BRAIN DOESN'T COMPUTE THE EPICNESS OF THAT IDEA!

dedicated servers, split screen LIVE compatible! Hell yes! Not to mention DLC won't be as bad as it was with TF2 on the 360.

But the retard treatment is kinda annoyin like how zombies are less likely to attack you from behind in the 360 compared to PC.

Yeah they did noob it down. Even then though by watching the videos it was apparent it was still tough.

I'm looking forward to it, but those videos seemed to highlight a pretty annoying gripe for me - there is going to be far too much team damage going on due to the uncertainty of where each and every human player is going to be in terms of space and how he/she is interacting with a threat (i.e. you're shooting some zombies to the right whilst player two is being swarmed from the right which makes him backpeddle into your line of fire, etc) but that sort of thing can potentially happen in most games, except for that this will be a first for close-quater intensity so it'll be a given that stuff like that will happen. I recall hearing there may be a way to turn it off, though. I won't when I'm with my friends but when I'm playing with random people I'd prefer it on.

Another thing I'm really not too fond on is how the zombies are often just... there. There doesn't seem to much in way of a load of zombies advancing towards you, they just appear in four directions or so and rush you so that the combat degrades into nothing but shooting everything that moves (and seriously, I refer again to my concern about team damage above - it's crazy the amount of times everyone shoots each other. The Cornfield (field itself, not the Last Stand in the shed on the same level) gameplay didn't look too fun, it just looked like a big circle pit of bodies and blazing guns.

The 'Subway' combat is the stuff I'm looking forward to, and the defending of the house in Corn Field. The shed defence, corn field itself and urban street battles don't do much for me, but we shall see.
