new update-lost visibility

hello, after the new update in cs:s i cant see boxes and things over long distances like i used to, why is this and how can i fix it? and hdr is off.

you probably have dxlevel 7.0 on, try doing mat_dxlevel 80, 81, or 90 in console, it'll clear up.

there's another command to fix the "fog", but i forget it right now.

One more thing. How do you change the direct x level to 9? Becasue it says direct X 0.9 in advanced options
