GO wouldn't make sense, for the western market. it's a console not something you take with you on the go.

Sounds like a marketing decision. Microsoft called their system the XBOX360 just because XBOX2 would sound inferior to the PlayStation3. Additionally, 360 degrees = 1 revolution, so Microsoft was kind of cleverly stealing Nintendo's thunder as well.

Nintendo 5 makes the new system sound better than the PS3 and XBOX360 if you go by that consumer logic.


I still prefer the Revolution name to this one. Even Nintendo ON sounded better.

Yeah, Nintendo Revolution kinda've makes it sound like Nintendo's very full of themselves... giving the impression that they're totally going to pwn our mothers.

Nintendo 5 sounds like some J-Pop band o.0...
