Yeah, it is really pretty dumb that you are buying characters instead of cool Nintendo-game locations as mentioned above.

The characters thing is a bit odd. Gonna be weird having to pay rent for landing on a character, when usually when you land on (or jump on, rather) someone in a Nintendo game, they die and give you some kind of power-up

Cool game pieces though, Link's shield looks kickass, they could probably make this kind of thing into collectables. Are those boots Link's aswell?
