No Lip Synch

Just reinstalled after a Hard Drive crash, started playing again just for kicks and now there is no lip sych going on, the charcters just stend there with their mouths open.... wierd.
Any clues folks

Maybe you should replace your HD if the head crashed. I'm surprised you were able to carry on using the old drive, after that.

It's possible the .gcf files got messed up. If the directory that stores the flex animations got corrupted, that might explain it, but ithat's a weird problem. And yeah, like TaoFan says, it depends on what kind of crash. If it's just crap drivers from windows or a power outage or something, it should be recoverable, but if it's a physical defect, I'd try to get all the data off of it you can and get another one.
