No more blood?

Hi,
I bought HL2 and Episode1 as import box version. The games included no censorship at all, e.g. the blood was red.
Now, I bought Episode2 via steam. It looks like, that the blood is colored in black now which just looks ridiculous. :frown:
I downloaded Episode2 in Germany, is it possible, that you can download only a censored version even when all your other games are uncensored?

I heard something about an uncut patch for the german version, but I also heard that it doesn't fix all cut problems...

I will buy it on the 18th of october, in germany so I will get the cut version too...
I hope the uncut patch will fix all these stupid problems...

Back in the days Software Dschungel in Vienna used to have Half Life as uncut US versions. Last time I was there they used to ship to Germany. www.dschungel.at

It's a bit strange, though, because all my Steam games are not censored. Not the Half Life series, not Bioshock, not Company of Heroes, none of them is. And I'm in Austria and Austria usually gets all the censored crap from Germany (games, movies, you name it.)
