no motion blur?

I've played EP1 and I came to this forum and I see alot of people talking about motion blur in HL2... I've never noticed any motion blur except in the one scene in the citadel with the 'sucking thing' where you had to run across the bridge.

i didnt have color correction enabled though... could that be the reason i never saw motion blur? i want it enabled!!

There isn't any, but there should be in EP2.

Valve didn't implement Motion Blur in EP1, however you can see it in action (as well as a few other effects) if you download the Day of defeat: Prelude to Victory trailer which you can find listed under my media in your steam interface.

Yeah but it's faked just like bloom.

Get a ghosting screen, then you get motion blur all the time
(probably a lot more when it's actually implemented)
