hello here is my screenshot of where i'm at.

where do i go from here? i seem to just keep shooting down endless gunships.

kill all the gunships, there are only 2.

When that is done you will be able to proceed

Actually that happened to my friend....gunships just kept coming and never stopped....actually it didnt but it sounded like a good example

You have to destroy both gunships before you can proceed, because this is a scripted sequence. When you destroy the last gunship, it will crash into the prison wall, creating an opening for you to enter by.

To your right there should be an infinite rocket-ammo crate. Use this and you should be fine. :thumbs:

Yup, you can see the rocket ammo just above the gun in that screenshot.

I had to cheat on that bit on hard, I could get past it but with only low health .
Do a fair bit of damage to the final gunship and the side wall should open up.

You DO NOT have to take down both Gun-Ships to go on. The Second one blows out a piece of the wall go through there. Just around from the endless supply of rockets box. Around that corner. To your right in that screen shot. :naughty:

I replayed that bit over and over on Hard, not because I kept dying (although I did) but because it was so much fun. One of the most chaotic moments of the whole antlion invasion section. Lots of people seem to get stuck there.

btw Combine Elite - I like your sig quote. You'd think God would learn to speak properly though.

I diden't get stuck once on my first time through the game.
I worked through the Ant Lion part with out getting stuck at all,but I did get killed many times because of the torrents.

Well, nothing get stuck except i forgot to take the airboat and walk on those biohazard liquid and i survive for a long time

^You do realise that you need the airboat to get past the dam at the end of that part.
