Office Complex help

You have all probably been there a while ago, but this is new to me.
I am stuck in 'Office Complex'.
I have two boxes (one small, one large) which, I asusme I have to jump onto to catch a ladder. Only I cannot. Jumping, squatting etc do not work.
Probably a simple answer for a simple man.
Anyone help out?

Check your Keyboard settings in the game option and see if jump is binded and setup your keyboard according to your liking.

Thanks for the help. Still doesn't work.
Am I meant to jump up and catch the ladder or take a different route?

You need to push the 2 together under the hole, jump on the small 1, then the big 1, then onto the ladder. Think it's just that :/

You need to do a crouch jump. (press control and jump at the same time)

and be sure to jsut tap the spacebar (or whatever) if you hold it down, you won't hold on to the ladder and fall off.

Do it like Sam-2k described to how to position the boxes. It should look like this; the big box should be placed directly under the ladder and the smaller box positioned near it.
Now that’s done, jump then up on the small box and then on the bigger box, look up so you see the ladder and press forward. You’ll grab the ladder so there is no need to jump.

Heh, no problem.
I like to help people that are stuck in games or need help in other areas, though when I do I like to do it as sensible as possible just to make sure they understand what I'm trying to explain.

Hi
I tried it but still no joy.
I placed the boxes as shown, looked at the ladder and nothing (see the file).
Even standing under the boxes nothing happens. Not sure what to do now!

Well, now you have to jump up onto the small box, and then jump and immediately crouch. (Crouch jump) While doing this, move forward. You'll jump onto the bigger box. Now crawl onto the ladder.

Yeah, you need to stand on the small box first and while facing the bigger box do a crouch-jump (jumping while holding down your crouch key, play through the Hazard Course if you need to) up onto it.
