Orange Box Purchase Question..

Hi,

how do Portal, Ep 2 and TFT 2 come in the box, 3 seperate CDs? is it possible to purchase the box and just install ep 2 onto my steam account, than install the other 2 games onto another steam account?

No, yes.

There are two DVDs in the Orange -Box- Case. When you install them onto your steam account, if you have any already installed then you'll get like a "free game giveaway". Hard to explain without actually doing it. You should be able to give the ones you have away to another account. But I think it only applies to HL2 and Ep1.

Why would you want to stick Portal and TF2 onto another one anyway?

Basically, I've only want the Ep 2 game and fortunately, I've a mate who wants the other 2 games...so it's possible to just purchase 1 Orange Box for 2 of us to share the 3 games?

If you both use the same account and never play at the same time, yes. But dude, I honestly don't think you'll want to miss Portal. I can't swear for TF2 but Portal is definately something you should try.

Portal and TF2 are both apparently unmissable. I can tell you Portal is totally awesome. You can't give him Portal and TF2 on his account. You can with HL2 and Ep1. Seriously, I'd keep Portal and TF2 if I were you, and let him play them. They're both awesome games.
