Orange Tubes (spoilers)

I saw the Orange Tubes in the area past Level 19, and I was like "OMG IT'S THE TUBES THEY GROW STALKER ZOMBIES IN!!"...

...And then I remembered that I was thinking of Minerva. Though Valve might've done this on purpose (which would've been cool, cause it would be the first sign of Minerva being taken as canon by Valve), it's likely just a coincidence.
