Original Half Life help needed

Hello!

I know tihs is supposed to be about half life 2 but was wondering if anyone can help me with the original.

Im trying to get it to work with coop mode, and the sven coop v3 didnt seem to be compatible, is there any other ways of doing this? or maybe a place to get the older versions of sven coop that does work with HL1

Are you talking about the Non-Steam version?
You can just enter your CD-key into a Steam Account and play on Steam, you know.

I don't think Sven Coop is still supported for non-Steam Half-Life, because the network system before Steam (Called WON) has been taken down a few years ago.

hmm, so could this be used to play in our office over our lan then?

If you are allowed to download and install Steam then yes but I seriously doubt that you are even allowed to like every workplace.
