Wow that sucks. Does the definintion of a Pirated MP3 include MP3's you have ripped from music you own?

I don't pirate music. But... I know people are going to get ****ed over this. I just wonder how many lives are ruined before this law is repealed.
 
I don't see the point of this..all they're going to do is catch a few pirates and ruin their lives by imposing ridiculous fines and punishments on those individuals, the music will keep getting downloaded and it won't solve any major issues, besides ruining a couple of people's lives to make an example out of them. I usually get music from the store because I like to have a physical real official copy of the cd, or maybe possibly download some songs on itunes. I don't download music illegally (*heavenly music starts playing and a halo appears over zeus' head*) but again, like I said this law will get nothing done except just giving the RIAA more fuel to continue their "witch-hunts"
 
Whenever I want to listen to a song, I just listen to it on youtube... lol. Since I don't listen to music much anymore at all.

What a load of BS. Shouldn't even be a criminal issue, but a civil one. That's what we get from the country that gave us the NET act I guess. Hopefully this will get shot down before it passes into law, but with most politicians having their lips firmly fastened around the cocks of industry lobbyists, who knows.
