pistol glitch

you can shoot all 18 bullets from the pistol at once

equip the pistol
hold down left and right mouse buttons
let go of the right mouse button and keep holding the left

* the longer you hold the 2 buttons the more bullets that will shoot

On the servers I play on, I'm the only one who knows about this bug.

Which is odd, because I was blatantly doing it for about an hour (95% of my kills were with it), especially on people who had just spawned.

It's pretty damn powerful, and really great against rocket campers (if you spawn in the room below them, you can kill 'em really easily with this).

This is very old news I found out about this the same day I got HL2...

Panda - there'd be no point. People can't survive more than 1 magnum shot (unless it just glances them, or they've got armor) as it is anyway.

But no, it doesn't work.

It does work, best to only do it a couple of times on a server, or people get pissed. Hold left AND right mouse at the same time for a while, about 7-10 seconds for a full clip burst, aim, then release ONLY the right mouse button. It's an instant kill most of the time.

Lotta times it doesn't work for me. Does holding it too long, or sprinting, or using the suit zoom or anything else mess it up, or do I just suck? Nothins worse then thinking you've got it set and taking your time so you don't miss only to have nothing come out and be dead.

Akasa - I meant it doesn't work with the magnum. I've done it for 1 hour on a server and no one seemed to tweak

As far as I know this only works with the pistol, but it does actually work, and it works really good. One of my friends told me he had been banned from something like four servers for using it. He is really stupid
