Planet of the Apes?

Is there any fans on this forum? I've never seen any of them, but the trailer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes kind of has me fascinated. + they seem to be one of those legendary sci fi series'.

So my question is, which are the ones to watch and which are the ones to leave untouched?

Planet of the Boring more like!

I've seen the original and the more up to date one and did not enjoy either. Found them really bland and boring, not looking forwards to this movie at all!

I really enjoyed the original, was completely confused by the Burton remake, and this one looks like rather than apes taking over the world, it's overrun with the paranoid notion that crappy CGI hallucinations will lead mankind to collectively kill itself.
