Please Help....HL2 properties problem

Well I just installed JBMod and Im having some trouble. First of all when i put "-console -applaunch 220 -game jbmod" into the properties of HL2 a problem occours. I start the game and cant load a HL2 map at all. I try to start a new game and there are no chapters, just a blank new game screen and I cant start cause I cant choose a chapter to start from. I just wanna mess around with the JB MOD. I see a lot of ppl have screenshots of them playing on a flat map with just grass. You know the one from the video with the exploding barrels. well how do i get that map???? and also How do I spawn barrels??? Please Help

You have to manually load a map, I usually type "maps *" to show all of them, then just type map ____ with whatever map you want. To my knowledge you cant spawn barrels.

IMO, JBMOD is too buggy to be worthwhile to play. I hope 1.0 comes out soon!

ya just go to the console in hl2 and type in map then space and type the first letter of the map

yeah i do that....then it starts to load, mind you the little bar thing never comes up, and the HL2 stops responding.......Ahgggggggg what do i do?

For some reason, it takes almost triple the time to load a map with JBMOD active, and seems like it has stopped responding. Just let it load for as long as possible.

when u load a map manually the loading bar wont be there it will just load to the map

It takes long to load that way...Have patience, let it load a minute or 2..or 3 or 5...Depending on sh*ttyness of your comp.

If you want a loading bar, use the changemap or changelevel command.
