When you get HL2, what will you do first, willl you load it up, and try to play as long as possible? Or will you play the first level and then just go to CS:S?

I'll try out the singleplayer, I guess. I'll probably wait for another time to play CS:S again, after all I've played the beta quite alot by now.

I know what CS is like, even though it it using Source now. I want to play something completely new and that is Half-Life 2 SP.

hl2.. then after many many hours killing citizens and shooting objects around the maps, i'll move on to see what i can stuff up in the game. Then i'll probably get to playing it. And fiannly i might play some CSS

Well, I'll be getting it over steam so ill be playing cs:s next week untill hl2 release.

Seeing as the Steam packages with the full version CS:S will probably be available significantly earlier than HL2... I think I'll probably be playing CS:S first. Then, as soon as HL2 is unlocked I'll drop CS:S completely until I finish HL2 singleplayer. Finally, I'll alternate between ****ing around with the physics in HL2 and playing CS:S until their novelty fades. By that time, there should hopefully be some (at least basic) mods starting to pop up... to keep me busy for years to come.

That schedule will probably get interrupted by the releases of Halo 2, Bloodlines, and/or any other games being released in late 2004 through early 2005.

Well, I'll be playing CSS first since it's available first... but once HL2 comes out, I'll play that over CSS for sure...

i just hope they release hl2 on a friday, that way i can have plenty of time to play it. It would suck if it gets release on a regular week day, then i will have to be at school waiting to get home and be day dreaming of playing hl2 all day. That would be just too cruel of valve...

I will play the sp then take a break and play CS:s.

But since cs:s comes out 1st i will be playing that.

probably CS:S since im purchasing on steam and it will *supposedly* be playable next week for steam purchasers.

I was going to wait to play mp after I had satiated my craving for SP, and finished the game sp.... but since the mp component has absolutely nothing to do with HL2, I guess Im not going to be spoiling anything by playing it...
