Well the Prometheus connection is stated in the game itself (the defective turret you can safe from the incinerator talks about him).

I really think the Prometheus theory is on to something.

Well, the prometheus thing is definitely a good analogy, and they hit you over the head with it in-game with the Prometheus Turret telling you so much, the rest has varying degrees of validity, and a lot of it is probably just reading into things. Interesting none the less. Nicely done.

Actually Aeschylus wrote Prometheus Bound, Shelley wrote Prometheus Unbound and would you just look at all the ****s everyone gives

The Prometheus myth is definitely related to GLaDOS' situation. Cast into the bowls of the Earth, pecked by birds.

That turret gives a lot of cryptic messages including ones on Caroline and Lemons. It's basically Portal 2's equivalent to the Singing Vortigaunt.
