porting CSS models to HL2DM

i searched but did not find..

alright, so ive opened up the css shared gcf with gcfscape and extracted the desired model folders (cs_assault and de_inferno) to my hl2mp\models directory. I opened up hammer, added a prop_static and chose one of my desired models. It turned up with pink and black checkerboard texture. wtf? So i went back to the CS gcf and extracted the cs_assault textures to the appropriate folder (i couldnt find any textures for de_inferno for some weird reason). Back in hammer (having reloaded hammer for the nth time now) i added a model from cs_assault. I tried another. and another. every single model is pink. What am i doing wrong? Ive extracted all the textures/models/materials relating to these maps into the corresponding folders in hl2dm, but the textures just wont show up. Help me please!
 
All model materials are in materials/models or materials/props.
