Pretty bad half-life 2 review

I don't think it was repetitive at all. In fact, there are a whole slew of things I would like to have done more of :bounce:
 
All those user reviews are shit, don't bother with them.

He really doesnt state any good reasons not to play Half life 2 SP, the only negative thing he says is that its repetitive and in all perspectiveness its not repetitive, pong.. now that game is repetitive. Half life 2 is a FPS, you run around shooting people cuz its fun and that one of the reason you got the game in first place. no good " dont get this game " points where made, he made more " this is a good fun game that looks good " points and still labeled it not good... it dont add up especially considering he didnt even review the multiplayer part of it.

The game obviously. It's not like we fought too many antlion guards or anything. Actually all of the chapters were very different.
 
"Repetitive" was his only gripe. "You have to jump from one place to another, and kill a bunch of enemies." Welcome to gaming. You notice everything else he said was, "this is cool, that was cool, the gravity gun was really cool." He liked the graphics and the story too.

This guy's just trying to be different by giving it a negative review, and he can't even do that right.

Well, this guy Jordan, although handsome, gave a very stupid review with very stupid reasons, in fact it's so stupid that one could mistake it for a parody of a stupid review, thus in effect giving the audience just the opposite opinion about the game.
 
Clearly he has no clue what he's talking about, granted it's his opinion but overall a really bad review imo.
 
Surely by HL2 multiplayer he means Counter-Strike:Source? Maybe he's a CS nut?
 
Its not repetative in anyway, like someone has said, I think he is just trying, for some crazy reason, to reveal a very negative thing about the game and to go against the hype. Basically he is an idiot, because he clearly doesn't have a clue what he is on about, and he is even more stupid to think that people will actually take in what he is saying, not to mention he has released this review some three years after the game was released in which practically everyone who owns a pc has the game and loves it, well the normal people love it anyway.
 
Um, Shift, HL2 came out in November 2004 - it hasn't even been TWO years yet.

Don't get it. The title "Pretty bad half-life 2 review" mean... whether it is the review says the game is bad or the review is bad? I guess it is the second one.

He is really sucking. Lack of example, lack of argument, lack of good presentation. And he is doing it so fast and emotionless that it looks like he doesn't have time for reccording, or he is doing it unwillingly, randomly, enervatedly. He lacks vocabulary, as he uses "cool" and "repetitve" all the time. His only arguement I've found was "You have to jump one place to another, kill bunchs of enemies", which can be applied to every first person shooter. The screen (the only screen, actually) which Gordon is fighting in a graveyard does not match his monologue at all. After saying the word "repetitive" for several time without giving example, he finished his "review" with "don't buy the game". WTF? That is retarded. In short, the kid reviewer really sucks.



Off-topic: my favourite game reviewer cannot be other but the Angry Nintendo Nerd!

And yeah, I've seen that review before. He says the same thing over and over, with nothing to base it on. And also, I don't know how he could say the single-player is bad, but it has a great multi-player. In my opinion, Half-Life 2's single-player/plot is the greatest piece of gaming ever made, and the multi-player is a bit dumb.

I'd play it more if it wasn't a "spazzy" game; everyone prancing around eachother at super speeds, taking 20 bullets to the head before they die.
 
People do have separate opinions.

Still and idiot though.
