Feedback:
Feedback is always welcome

There's a lot that could be said here, and I have a feeling that you're going to ignore or pan any criticism, so I'll just say this:

Nice try.

Feedback is welcome, good or bad. No intention of ignoring any remarks, however, "Nice try" is vague.

It's not our goal to produce a game that will be enjoyable for all gamers. We want to develop a video game and make it the best we can so those who play it... won't be disappointed. Even major hit games like Halo, Gears of War and God of War as popular as they are, have gamers who dislike them. We are out to prove our abilities and not let down the gamers that play our product. Feedback won’t be ignored, it’s expected

Hi there, let me break this down for you.

Team name:
Faramix Enterprises LLC

You list yourself as an LLC. Have you done so by filing Articles of Organization, or an equivalent document, with the Secretary of State in the state of formation? Since you have "multiple employees" your LLCs has to obtain a federal tax ID number from the IRS. Have you done any of that to obtain your LLC status? Please don't even get me started on "Enterprises"
Project name:
End
I can't really comment on this, but it's quite boring.

Was created for the purpose of the video game development of 'End' with intentions of creating new titles after its release. The company was formed in March ?07 by Michael Dehen. Beginning with 3 members, there is now a total of 10 employees?s,(Do you pay them? Do you have an office location? How are they employees?) and as the project progresses the company(This is not a company.) will continue to grow until a team has been formed and the game moves from the Pre-production to Production phase. Focusing on not only detailed and involving storylines, but also creating gameplay that fits in perfectly and feeds off the story. The video game players not only get a great story with each game planned to develop, but also great gameplay to fit the genre of the game as well as the story involved.(So you just said the same thing twice basically?) Faramix Enterprises LLC is a development company that will be on top of the charts for best selling games(Do you even have any experience, how haven't I even heard of you, and how do you plan to sell your game when you don't own the Source engine? How is it going to reach top seller charts when you have games you are competing with that have budgets of 30 million and higher. after their first release of 'End' and future titles.

Besides being able to play a dishonorably discharged acholohic who lost his wife and lives with his cousin? This is beyond even an anti-hero because it's lacks anything interesting.)

Feedback:
Feedback is always welcome
(There's your feedback. Please take this laughable post out of this forum and never come back. What you don't realize if you presented your idea in a reasonable manner, and didn't just make a user name and post this crap as your first post you may have gotten people to help you. This made you look incredibly silly. How old are you anyway? What have you done before? So you have no skills besides writing and being the "leader?" That essentially makes you useless.

hahaha FAKE !!

-dodo

edit: 1e time I ever posted the word fake on the interwebs !!

Engoncalo and Dodo
Thank you for the feedback, but, what we are looking for is it to be in a useful form, or not at all.

To answer your rant:

Yes we are officially an LLC, have taxpayer ID #, filed all necessary documents, and have a seperate company bank account

As for the source engine, already signed an agreement with Valve about specifics on price and usage. So yes, we do have the right to use it.

ESRB guidelines vary based on country and company. Aware of how the system works.

The website and forums are new, so going through and revising them. The current forums are in place so we had a forum to use while work is being completed on our own.

As for positions, currently do all the listed. As we grow then positions will be filled as the workload increases.

As for Eidos, it wasn't just an email. The Initial Concept they requested has been submitted.

The story listed is a very short teaser story that includes very few variables included in the actual storyline. Did they release the storyline to Hostel2 before the movie? no

Spelling errors occur, no one is perfect.

Anything else you want me to answer?

What's this about "teaser story"? For such a pro company, you sure are making a lot of noobie mistakes. And for the record, I'm not very "teased".

Anyway, egoncalo has already said everything that can and should be said, but I have to get my two-cents in in response to your comment that my criticism was "vague". I agree, it was vague. Please allow me to clarify.

Moving past the sophomoric plot, amateurish writing, incredibly vague description of the actual gameplay (insofar as such a description exists) and the fact that you have a character named “Chaz Nolen,” you are really doomed because you guys are trying so hard to come across as some major, professional studio when you are obviously nothing more than a bunch of dudes and modders on the internet. Then there’s the fact that your “core” team appears to consist of nothing more than “idea guys” with glorified titles. Seriously… CEO? C’mon, man…

Although, I have to give you this much credit: I laughed out loud when I read that you’d actually submitted your idea to Eidos, hoping they’d “pick it up” and publish it. I can imagine how that’s gonna go over at Eidos HQ:

Eidos Employee: Ho hum, just another boring day here at Eidos. This console war sure is lame, so many major corporate development teams jockeying for our attention! I wish we had a few more half-baked ideas from amateur dev teams on the web… that would be swell!

Computer: *Ding!* You’ve got mail!

Eidos Employee: Great! From [email protected]? That sounds official! I’ll open this right away.

*reads email and design doc*

Great scot! This is just what we’ve been looking for! And what a glorious website! Ignoring the fact that their team is led by a “writer” yet the story looks as though it was assembled from the parts of B-Movie screenplays that get cut, they sure have a snazzy logoand some elegantly Photoshopped pictures! I’m gonna forward this to Bill Gardner right away, so that they can talk CEO to CEO. I’m just glad to have done my part in making such a sure-fire hit a reality!

So... yea. That's what I meant.

Faramix & Solar Systems Studios

I cannot give evidence of what I am about to say for various, important purposes.
Please understand also what I will say may not be correct.
But I cannot stand by and watch history (Potentially) repeat itself.
I have a firm belief that 'Faramix Enterprises' is the work of a notorious user called 'Sysdevja', or 'Jallsopp'. If you remember this user or have encountered him on other forums such as: -
Devmaster.net
Gamedev.net
Onrpg.com
Mmorpgmaker.vault.ign.com

... Then you will be aware of is Lies and plagiaristic ways. I am implying that this company is the work of fiction just as, 'Solar Systems Stuidos' was.

Please do not ask for evidence or any form of proof to back up this claim I am making because I simply cannot give it to you. Just be aware of what I have written.
Thank you.
JeremyKill.

i really really hope not , because the concept artist they've hired is really talented.
i think you guys are taking an unfair stab at a real Indy development studio. judging by the concept art it really seems like theres more to the story line and company than meets the eye.i think he just came on a bit too strong with his sales copy :p.
edit: also theres the article about their environmental artist that was published in a gaming magazine

It doesn't make it any less bull shit. I've been on several mod teams, and I've worked on 5 AAA titles so far. Does that make the mods I've worked on any more successful or studio-esque? I started working in the game industry at 18, but I don't think that makes me anything special.

Can I have a copy of this London Game magazine? I live in London and I've never heard of it. Plus if you look at the page it's clear it's not a scan, page 17 is on the left and page 18 on the right, but there is no crease at the centre. But it's also unlikely to be a source PDF from a professional magazine. Looking at the column spacing it doesn't look professional at all, and the wording is too clumsy for that of a professional journalist:
"Could you tell us Mr. Allsopp how did you get into one of the biggest game developers in the world at such a young age?"
This can be written either as "Could you tell us, Mr. Allsopp, how you got into one of the biggest game developers in the world at such a young age?" or "Tell us, Mr. Allsopp, how did you get into one of the biggest game developers in the world at such a young age?", but it cannot be written the way it appears in the article.
"My year at sixth form was probably one of the best in my life. Apart from the education of learning what I wanted. Everyone was more mature, people you grown up you disliked you now were more mature and everyone simply got along.
Finally I can't find the magazine or the author (Tim/Timothy Francise) on Google at all, which leads me to believe it's a poorly written, edited and designed amateur magazine project whose words hold no authority whatsoever, so I'm puzzled why it appears on the front page of this 'professional' games company.

P.S. The magazine is also in black & white (both the article and the top and bottom of the page), which would fit the printing budget of an amateur magazine.

Feedback is welcome, good or bad. No intention of ignoring any remarks, however, "Nice try" is vague.
There is another thing here that's vague - everything you've posted. We know almost nothing about End from your post, aside from a paragraph of backstory. Why the hell is anyone going to want to play this? What features do you have in mind? Why does that article look like it was written by a sixteen year old?

Hostel 2 was a horrible movie and it didn't rely on the storyline to get people to watch it, it relied on the gore factor, which WAS advertised and well known beforehand. Your game, I hope, relies on gameplay, which at this point we know absolutely nothing about. Also, you're not working on a massive high-budget film with a successful prequel. You're working on a game that you haven't said anything about with a team of mostly amateurs and next to no budget, with a concept that frankly fails to even try to blow my mind.

I don't give a damn if you're an indie developer on your way up or if you're some two-bit asshole pretending you're a bigshot because it gets you off. I'm judging you on your concept and so far you have shit to show for it. Give us more information, if anyone joins you based off what you've given us, they're a complete fool.

Please don't try to bring down our name because of allegations against James Allsopp. Found out about them last night and will be talking to Sega Racing Studio tomorrow to confirm his employment. If you have an issue please email me at [email protected] about it. We have a Press Release scheduled for tomorrow on our site and also another professional development company’s website about licensing their engine technology and have begun talking to publishers.

In regards to the storyline and gameplay, we're not releasing it in detail until after the game has been produced and on store shelves.

Please don't try to bring down our name because of allegations against James Allsopp. Found out about them last night and will be talking to Sega Racing Studio tomorrow to confirm his employment. Why would you confirm his employment when you are only a mod team anyway? lol. If you have an issue please email me at [email protected] about it. We have a Press ReleaseWhy does "Press Release" have to be capitalized? scheduled for tomorrow on our site and also another professional development company?s website about licensing their engine technology and have begun talking to publishers.I smell BS cookin' in the oven! What happened to Eidos? What dev company is licensing you their proprietary engine, and how in the hell do you have enough money to buy it? You make me giggle.

In regards to the storyline and gameplay, we're not releasing it in detail until after the game has been produced and on store shelves. Then you obviously don't pay attention to how real game studios do it. Your game should be a pretty big failure if you tell the public nothing about it. I'm glad.

I hardly even mentioned him in my post.

This is gonna be sweet. Hope you guys put all the money you just spent on that engine to good use. If you've got any left, start by redoing your website... its not "great." You surprised me at least by purchasing an engine... lets see what you can do with it. Also, probably shouldn't post updates about team members having children on the companies front page... that's a little weird.

EDIT:
I still don't understand why you came here to recruit, and continue to make posts here... I really can't grasp the concept.
