Question about HL2:DM

This might be a really dumb question, but I can't find anything about it anywhere. Did HL2: DM suddenly start costing money? I had it before (it was under "my games" as part of the Silver HL2 Package) and now it says I have to purchase it. Did they decide that now you have to pay for HL2: DM? Isn't it illegal to rescind property (even intellectual) if someone has already paid for it?

Anyway, hopefully that made some sense. Anyone explain this?

I bought the silver package as well and my hl2:dm appears to be working just fine.
No clue why yours is doing that :/

Steam's been acting up a bit. After I had finished a session of HL2, it was at the bottom of the list saying, 'Half-Life 2 (preloaded)'. Once I restarted Steam, it was gone.

That was a REAL update to the source engine. Check the news.
