Do the guys at Valve plan to ever reintroduce dr. Rosenberg, Simmons and Walter(the three survivors from Blue Shift apart from Barney)? Because I always thought it would be rather cool if there was a sequence where Eli sent you to meet up with a "little friend" of his, and when you finnaly get to the friend's base you meet up with Rosenberg who briefs you etc. while Simmons and Walter do some work in the background.

I dunno if it's just me, I just think they should be reused in the HL saga at some point.

Because, you know, Walter rules.

actually you have a very good point there. I think maybe we might see them in aftermath. As blue shift was a part of the story line. I would like to see them all but maybe it would be sort of pointless. I personally would like to see them all.

Well, maybe they are members of the Resistance battling for freedom, or a piece in Eli's master plan to intercept the Combine...you know, something like that. Maybe they can be more original.

I you notice, in Blue Shift, Rosenberg actually refers to him as Walter. The fanbase had already influenced Valve by then.

Although I'd like to see Rosenberg again, two things immedeately comes to mind:
1: Walter would look very much like Kleiner, and 2: There are an awful lot of BMRF personnel running around. Let's not overdo it now. But ultimately I just don't think VALVe will do it.
