ok-
1) is it worth downloading,

2) has it ever been updated so that the facial expressions & lyp synch work properly? (if you don't know what I mean, skip to 0:35- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-R5Z8Vfv32s)

3) does it involve some sort of annoying file process or do you just download it and save it in the right place? I know very little about computers.

4) can you download it from steam?

5) can you get rid of it once it's done if you decide you don't want it?

thanks.

Haven't actually downloaded it, but note that it's absolutely huge and not available through Steam.

I've not heard anything for fixing the animations unfortunately.

how do you mean?

He's probably thinking about the cinematic mod, it requires like 10x as much HD space.

HL2: Update requires about 1.6GB of hard drive space.

Anyways...

1. Yes

2. No, that's just how it is on the xbox 360 version of HL2 which is where they got the new models from.

3. Just download and extract.

4. No.

5. Yes, it doesn't interfere with your original half life 2 installation, it installs and runs just like a normal mod and keeps all it's data in it's own folder. It will be like a new game, it won't replace your existing half life 2 game.

interesting, thanks.

2 questions though:

1- does that mean that on the 360 version there are shitty facial expressions or is it just the mod?
2- how do you extract a mod? like I said, I'm shit with computers?

Oh just so you know you need Half-Life 2 and Episode Two installed to run this mod. I don't think that the facial expressions are broken in the xbox version. I think it just uses the orange box version of the models which have more and different facial mussels which just don't work with the Half-Life 2 expressions.

yeah thanks. I have episode 2 and HL2. actually I tried the other day to install it but after the file download it tried to go onto windows installer but didn't work. could anyone provide me with a link to a good download for the mod and a list of instructions?

thankyou.

I don't know. The installer worked perfectly for me.
