Who actually owns this? Why is it perpetually on sale? To what market do they even advertise? Do they even care? Who wants to drive a train around all day and not get paid for it?

I was looking for a good train game at the time when I saw this, and decided to pass. Doesn't look worth the price at all, and all those expansion packs costing a bundle as well? **** that.

I messed with it a little, nothing at all to write home about unless you're a really hardcore train nerd

I tried the game as well, and it's nothing spectacular. Even derailing the train is something of a let down, lol. I can understand a flight sim -- there's a lot of things a pilot has to manage, but driving a train in this game? It was basically "forward/reverse" and "emergency brake".

My friend estimated the cost of the complete Railworks package to be close to $750USD. Incredible.
