anyway, any input is much appreciated ^^

Looks like a good character model.
My only real feedback would be that the fur doesnt look fluffy enough.
By adding some slightly cartoony characteristics of fur in the texture you could add more realism to it. Google a polar bear. use their fur as a texture.
The front of the hat looks quite grainy...
Good luck, great job & it looks great none the less,

I agree the fur looks slightly plastic. The 'bag' around the left eye. The uv map looks slightly stretched there as though it should come in to the left in the bottom right part of the 'bag'

Dont know if thats just me though.

I would probably bring out the pockets of his jacket and pants a little more in the texture. Make them more distinguishable. Also the highlights in his face are too white. They should still be close to his skin tone, just a touch lighter. Also, his eyes seem a little too close together.

Can I see a wireframe too?

Whoa, that's changed quite alot. Noticed you guys chopped alot of detail out of the face.. even though the origional model was like 7'500 tri's. Good job though!. As for crits, the texture is good, just perhaps the loss of detail on the face has made it lose quite a bit of visual quality. Anyway seeing as it's up for people to see, this was the unskinned origional with a normal map applied.

Hi clarky! i felt really bad doing this one as you spent most of the time on it, and i dont think i did it much justice :(

I'm tempted to keep you head in the end as my head (only took 2 hours to model lol) isnt very good.

It's cool :) I think you did a good job. The only thing I'd be concerned about is when taking mesh detail out of key areas like the cheek lines that boarder the top lip area, the nose, mouth and eyelids, it becomes harder to make any facial animation look convincing. When you don't have the mesh layed out in a way that facilitates pinching or creasing of areas when a character smiles or winks, or even when they crease their nose, it'll often look weird.

I'd suggest work on the head you've created, maybe use mine as a reference, but practice putting the detail in yourself.

Wow you guys are really good. Could never hope to do such a thing myself

Keep up the good work.
