Real sized News Forum

Has it been considered making the news area actual forum sized for discussion? Right now it's this giant news post with mini-sized comments but you can see people are actually discussing things.

This needs to be done. The Steam Summer Sale is just one example of a lot of people posting in the news area.

I don't get what was wrong with the old system of having threads in the news section show as threads when accessed from the forum or when making/viewing comments, with their OPs serving as the blog posts.

I actually agree.

I think it should revert back to the standard thread format.

There's a very good reason why too. Mainly because I'm dreading such a time (that will be very soon) where we have to upgrade XenForo to version 1.2 and yours truly has to fix everything that breaks.

We will discuss it as staff, and decide the best way forward.
