Removing parts of a func_detail?

Is it possible to remove parts from a func_detail consisting of several brushes? I accidentally added some wrong parts to a rather big func_detail, and removing the whole crap and then remaking it doesn't sound like a good idea.
 
You could select the entire func_detail then click toWorld, the brushes should stay selected, now ctrl-click the ones you want to remove, then re-add the selected ones to the func_detail again.

Now you can delete the ones you ctrl-clicked on, I believe.
 
You can also depress the ignore-groups ("ig") button on the top, small toolbar. You'll be able to select the individual parts of a group.
