Retail package questions.

Hey

Ive been chatting on irc to various people and no one could decide so im asking

What version, bronze or silver will be the boxed retail version? I very much want dods, hls etc etc and these only come in the silver, (ignore gold for now.. thats not going to be the default retail one) and if the retail version is bronze then.. well .

Ive been avoiding buying hl2 on steam because I want a box, cd and manual. If the retail version only comes with hl2 and css. I will need to buy dods, hls, tfcs etc etc on steam ontop of the retail purchase when they become avalible. I would imagine that would come to more £ than buying Silver on steam right now.

Also I dont look forward to redownloading the full 3/4 gb if I want to reinstall the game after a hd format if I bought it on steam.

So could someone tell me what comes in the default retail version of HL2 people will buy in the shops?

Retail is equal to bronze.
Only way of preorering DoD:s atm is by buying Silver/Gold.
However at release (which could still be a long way away) they are likely (seen it in an email but cant find it) also release it seperatelly for steam
