Saving the saved game files

Hi, i need to save my halflife 2 saved game files as I am re installing windows and don't really want to loose them.Anyone know how?

Not really. But you can always use "changelevel" go get to where ever you want.

Go to your steam folder then steam apps then your username should be there then simply go to HL2 and backup the folder named "saves".

Yeah do that and your golden.

Also it could be an idea to partition ur hdd in 2 parts, one with windows on it and the reular programs, one with your games and other important stuff. That way you can easily reinstall without worrying of loosin all ur important stuff

Could be a problem if u have just installed and wanna jump to a level where u actually need more guns than the pistol and crowbar right (almost every level)

If ypu typre changelevel the console will give you all the weapons that you are supposed to have on that level, and maximum ammo.

How do you activate the console button,i know you are suppost to hit the ~ button,so i can change levels.Can anyone help me thanks
