Script for the gravity jump

Can anyone provide me with a script for the gravity jump manuever? I'm getting tired of switching "q" with "pagedown" :hmph:.

Also, I tend to forget where the script is supposed to be stored, so, if possible, I would appreciate some brief instructions on how to implement the script.

I'm pretty sure you have to use the pagedown or pageup key - it goes in an autoexec.cfg file in the same directory as your config.cfg file.

Someone just mentions scripting and people feel the need to voice their opinions...hehe, as if anyone cares - tis the nature of the internet forum I guess, c'est la vie...

Gravity gun jumping contains enough variables that creating a script for it could be difficult (though not impossible). I'd stick with finding a good demo and practicing. :E

get a script for g jump is not any fun having a script it Death Match is not good if others dont have it it gives you an unfair advantige do it the easy way
1. pickup your smg
2. prees g to pickup g gun
3. look down at a big car cabnet table any thing big (stand on it)
4. prees QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ etc
5. and shoot like all mad

Q will swap you g gun to smg and back over and over agane when you shoot remeber to look aroud or you will fall to your death because the thing under you comes for the ride so you have no idear how high you are coz there is some big thing blocking the way

And yeah. Gravity Jumping with a script is just as bad as bunny hopping.

I enjoy Gravity Jumping myself, but using a script is just lame and unfair. Takes all the skill out of it.

I think gravity jumping (done rapidly) pretty much ruins this game. Do you guys realise that exploiting gravity jumping could kill all the fun of this game? People running around unclipped parts of the map unfairly =\ cmawwn

And besides that - don't use scripts for stuff, they're never as good as a real player.

IMO...People can use scripts if they want to, who cares - they can't make up for true strategy and skill, but they can make some things easier. If you want to use them, use them; if you don't like them, don't use them and don't whine about those who do. Scripts are there for ANYONE to use and will continue to exist, so deal with it.

Gravity jumping is really just a novelty, sure people can get to high places, but they'll probably kill themselves a couple times getting there - just shoot a rocket at them or shoot them down when they're flying through the air trying to get somewhere, it's not a big deal and I don't think it ruins the game at all.
