Scrolling in Firefox lags computer

I just upgraded to catalyst 6.11 and rebooted. Now when ever I scroll down pages with my middle scroll, the pages tear and lag untill it catches up.

Whats going on?

Edit: Just tested IE7, does the same thing too

Check your refresh rate, it may have been reset to 60 from what it was before. If I remember right there should be a smooth scroll option in the browser or in windows explorer. But that wouldn't change because of a driver update.

Did you uninstall the previous drivers?

Usually after reboot you have to wait at the desktop for a minute while it does a few tests, then eventually your right-click menu and everything else should be smooth again.

Had to uninstall ati drivers then reinstall and direct X. Somehow installing the new version over the 6.9's screwed up DirectX along with it!

Fixed now thanks!
