so does gordon ever encounter eli and kleiner in hl1? were they the two who head to the main frame computer as it busts before the rc? the ones that say "what the hell is going on with our equipment?!"

Eli is said to be the dude near the exploding computer and Kleiner was Gordons sponsor , not sure he was actually encountered though.

ok so all we know of kleiner is that he was gordon's old professor and sponsor... was he at bm when it happened? if he was, how'd he escape? who was phone?

yeah and what about the three main characters in decay, i know they're gearbox, but gina was also in hl:dm and i believe that's all valve.

Kleiner was at Black Mesa I'm assuming, and as for Gina Cross and Collete Green, their status is unknown.

There is no official word that I know of about Kleiner for HL1 but I like to think he was working at Lambda Complex, it fits nicely as he continues to work on teleporters in HL2.

Well Gordon's, Gina's and Barney's letters were all forwarded to Dr Kleiner. The only connection between those 3 people is that they all worked in Anomalous Materials. Barney and Gordon used to race themselves to get into Kleiner's office. Gordon and Barney both worked in Anomalous Materials and I doubt they were let anywhere near the Lambda labs. Mossman and Breen both reference Gordon working under Eli and Kleiner.

I doubt it. I think those people died.
