Setting Source Servers

I was hoping that someone would around to help me out. I've setup a dedicated server for DOD Source. It's running on the server, I've entered the game and gone on the server. How do you actually change to admin and start changing server settings in Source games?

when you created the dedicated you should have a created a rcon password (Allows you to be admin on server) then when in the server go into the console and type rcon_password whatever your password is then to type a command type rcon then the command

I set the RCON password properly. I try rcon_password PASSWORD in the console, then rcon COMMAND << but is this COMMAND meant to be COMMAND or something else? :S

The essentials that you will need are:
sv_cheats 1 (just for laughs when the server is empty )
CHEAT COMMANDS
impulse 101 - all weapons last time I checked
ent_setname NAME (aim this at a flag)
ent_fire color NAME "255 0 0" (the flag becomes red )

NORMAL COMMANDS
status - gives you the information of everone currently on the server. Also gives you their SteamIDs.

banid (person number (from status) or SteamID) NUMBER IN MINUTES
(If you banned someone wrongly, just ban them again, but just for one minute) (0 = permanent)

kick NAME/NUMBER/STEAMID

changelevel2 MAPNAME
