I like Avia. They are light and comfortable. They are great for running, too.

I have absolutely no idea.

Seriously, I could care less what brand they were. I just picked them because they look kinda cool. :)

QFE, who cares what brand they are? Most shoes don't look great, I just use them to stop getting my feet impaled on glass

I just get shoes too. I can't be choosy either because my feet are extra wide, and there are only so many extra wide shoes. :|

Dude, quit while you're ahead. These polls are practically lame and shallow. With the addition of the absence of Puma and Vans on the poll, I despise you.
I liked the part where you shot him down for starting a shallow, shallow debate and then added your wisdom to the shallow, shallow debate because you were above his shallowness. That bit was cool.

 i know what you're thinking... cheap shoes!

I dont like branded shoes, adidas etc. waste of money for something made by a poor little kid in taiwan. Infact, i find branded trainers complete rip offs, so i get the cheapest most decent pair (for the price) and not nike or adidas or any of them sport brands.

Nonsense, you pay for quality. Maybe some stuff is expensive out of proportion, but I guarantee you a good pair of shoes will outlast a cheap pair. Pretty much everything I have of a brand (not just shoes) is still good as new, cheap stuff is well... long gone.

A good pair of shoes are 'not' determined by price. The overinflated price you pay for designer/name brand shoes is exactly that, the fact that it is a designer and/or a namebrand shoe. Same goes with clothes. Do you think its because they are more rugged of construction than other less expensive brands? Not necessarily so, and most of the times, either only equal, or actually inferior in construction which leads to more purchases as people become further slaves to fashion.

The only thing you're paying for, with those big prices, is name brand.

There is a difference between 'cheap', and 'less expensive'

i dont really care aslong as i can sprint in them

Nike shoes cost f*ck-all to make and sell for up to £100-ish... What you're really paying for is the blood and degradation of some Asian child's life.

And if that isn't worth £100, I don't know what is. :hmph:

now THAT is a come-back
I dont wear any desighner stuff, i just buy them and race the hell outta them

wtf, on newsround it just said some 10 year old kid has won the 'smelliest sneaker' contest. His secret is to wear no socks :x

Bollocks, sold out of my size of the trainers I ordered :(

Edit - must be fate! Found them for about £25 cheaper on eBay :D

What if she stabs you in the face? Or the crotch?

Not just ordinary shoes. Steel-toe boots.

Boots.

best shoes I've ever owned: Blundstones australian boots ...I'm on my 4th pair. Most comfortable shoes I've ever owned

Excellent... if she cut you in your feet!

I'll cut you up and use your dried-up skin for shoes.

I just went to their websites. Yeck, I can't stand smooth shoes/boots. I need contrast, some detail to break up the smooth surface a little.

A topic such as shoes could only come from a genius like NightBlade...

Nothing like my Nike Huraches. Comfortable as hell. Ugly as sin, too, but hey...

Oh give him a break. I've started equally mundane topics before.

Perhaps, but do you make threads such as this over and over? :hmph:

I find those plastic bags round your feet that some homeless people wear quite comfortable AND stylish.

Stuff them full of newspaper, and you've got winter shoes.

:naughty: Nike, Puma, Asics, Vans, Clarks, Timberland, Converse (Jack Purcell).

I so rarely find any shoes that actually fit my feet comfortably that I hate all shoe manufacturers equally...

The only good kind of boots to wear, if any, are combat boots. Awww yeah. Punk rock style! heh.
