spec's of the laptop

processor 2.00GHz

480 RAM

and the integrated card

brand packard bell

I am asking cuz I saw the game in a store and it was in a good price and I have enough cash to buy it,but them I remenber that I ONLY HAVE THIS LAPTOP so it was bad cuz sure this laptop wouldnt run it right?

I know the minimun spec's and before upgrading the pc I have overseas in my country it could run but very slow at like maximun 10 fps

so should I give it a try? there wasnt a demo of halflife2?
or should I wait till I buy a ps3 and get the ps3 vertion?

Well if you don't have a better pc then ya, ps3 is the better choice.

I have a Pentium 3 1.2 GHz, nVidia FX 5200 and 512 MB RAM. :p I can run the thing at all settings to full, except anti-aliasing (I get only about 4x, so it doesn't make a huge difference to the graphics) and get a decent fps with slight jerks here and there. With everything at medium, game runs silky smooth.

I love Valve. :D

Bah.. Get a 360.. and then get then get Orange box for that. 360's are more westerner PC gamer oriented anyway.
I have a 360 but I played Orange box on a PC, because I played the first two on a PC :)

well I guess the option is obvious

so I better pick up the halflife1 anthology that is there too and very cheap too

that one needs steam or something like that?

Don't, it will certainly not be able to run the Orangebox.
My dad has a Dell Inspiron 710, it's spects are exactly the same as your laptop (2.0 GHz CPU/492 Mb RAM), the problem is, the graphic card included supports DirectX 6 in hardware so you won't be able to play the game.

Too long; didn't read.

If you don't have a normal mouse, then I would suggest not getting it.
