Theres always that old idea that if you leave a shirt in the dryer to long it will shrink.

See, I have some larger shirts, that I would like to have a tighter fit. So I tried drying one for a long time, and it didn't work.

Does anyone know how to actually do it? Or if it can be done at all?

I've heard it could be done quite easily with jeans, but shirts?

To shrink a shirt, you have to put it in hot water, not in the dryer.

But most T-shirts are pre-shrunk. That is, they were already extremely huge and they shrunk them in the factory.

like that other guy said, your shirt may be pre-shrunk...check the tag. if they're not wash them in very hot water then dry them

Heh, have you realized "that-other-guy's" username you are referring to is "theotherguy"? Just thought that was kinda funny. On Topic: If the "hot water and dryer" thing doesn't shrink your shirts though zombieturtle, you can always wolf down three Big Macs and three orders of Super Sized Fries three times a day for about a week or two while sitting around doing nothing. That'll shrink your shirts for sure.
