Snoop dog does Sad But True

I hate Metallica and I hate Snoop. So for me this is kind of like a Venn diagram of shit.

This has more fail in it than a 10 gallon hat full of fail.
 
As crappy as that was, it probably sounds better than if Metallica sang it nowadays.

Seriously, Metallica has had one of the sharpest declines I have ever witnessed. Master of Puppets and Justice For All are 2 of my favorite metal albums and are full of great songwriting, but then they just degenerated into an MTV lovefest. Isn't that why Jason Newsted quit?

But yeah, on topic, this is one of those songs that someone like Snoop Dogg should never be mentioned in the same sentence as.

Sad but true isn't a good song anyway....
Only their first few albums were good,but nothing special compared to other thrash metal albums that came in the same years..
 
This is pretty old, I think Metallica have retired or something since then, at least they should have.

Metallica was once an epic thriving organism, capable of evolution. Then it suffered a terrible virus called MTV and mutated. This new mutation continues to attract other destroyed organisms till today, with evidence as shown in the video.

I think it was an event where various artists where doing covers of Metallica songs. I also saw Avril Lavigne do Fuel and Linkin Park do Sanitarium.

You could tell Kirk and Robert are cracking up when Snoop's performing :laugh:

this is way better than his new single "sexual eruption" but, this is still pretty much retarded.

snoop really fell off big time.

I really don't know what to say to this. I agree that they're not good now and probably won't be, but it's pretty ignorant to say they never were AND that they are probably the worst band in existence.
 
Thanks for posting that Unfocused. That was epic funneh. Snoop should really cut down on the herb. It clouds his ability to make good decisions.

They were AMAZING up until the mid-90s. I agree that now they're not much but you can't tell me that Kill 'em All, Ride The Lightning, Master of Puppets for chrissake, and ...And Justice For All are not kick-ass albums. Those are some of the best and most influential albums in metal history.
 
I don't know about that. Those first 4 CDs were pretty terrible.
 
The Black Album is really good, but it's also the only Metallica CD I like... I always think it's strange how I seem to be the only one with that preference here. :P
