So are PC users going to get the HL2 (and Ep1) upgrades that 360 users will get?

All the bsp files of HL2 put together are over 600MB. All the maps with added HDR would be more than that.

So the map files, currently 800mb, will grow to 3-4GB, just because the addition of HDR? I don't think so somehow.

You all (Some of you) act as spoiled children on this tread. XBox gets everything for the price I paid for HL2 and it even looks better they should update our HL2 also and I want my money back. Not fair, not fair...nag, nag, nag.... This is another signal that we gamers only care for graphics and not for gameplay or story.
Really you should appreciate what Valve does. They are by far the most modest and best game-developpers around. They'll probably give us the updates later for FREE...Know any developer who would do the same???...

I understand what your saying... and valve is one of the least cheapest developers I've seen. However, if we didn't "nag" or make comments on the already awesome game... valve could never progress and make better games. Haveing HDR in Hl2 would be awsome, and as noobish as I am/was i thought HDR was already in Half life 2 cuz i didnt really know what it was and I was completely happy with the game, now that i know what it is I think it would be pretty sweet to have it and it was a bummber when i heard some where that Half life 2 would on 360 was going to have HDR when hl2 on PC did not, now that im hearing It probably will, I assumed Valve would make it into an upgrade via steam for free. I hope as evey one else does that is optional not becuase i dont want to download it, but becuase I'd much rather choose when I want to download it... if it ever really does become downloadable, you never know, shit happens

Well, I don't mind not having HDR, as I can't run it anyway. But I'd love it anyway. And I'd love a new computer. And what is there exactly that we can do to change this situation though? Petition? They don't work. I guess we could always zipline into Valve offices and tell them to "Pick. Up. That. Can".
