somethig wrong here?

Hey ive beaten HL2 already and what not, but i was playing it again on Normal difficulty and when i reached the chapter "Our Benefactors" i was no longer able to jump, i could do everything else but jump, luckly i found some use with the items and had to create ways to get over objects, but this really annoyes me the same problem was in "Dark Energy" but in the Chapters before these 2 , there was no problem. i made my jump button "J" but that didnt work and i restarted HL2 and my computer, but same problem i dont know why i would not be able to jump for these last 2 chapters, but i could jump in all of the other chapters. And im positive that this didnt happen when i beat the game earlier this week, and i did beat it again this time but i want to know the problem so i can fix it, any help is appreciated.

Known bug, for some reason you just cant jump, tis odd. You can noclip through sections if its a problem, or just reload a save or the level to sort it out.

cool, its not just me but yes i did restart and reload my saved games but the problem persisted, i hope when i go to beat the game on Hard this weekend that same crap doesnt happen...thanks for your input

Yeah it's a problem. The gravity distortion around the citadel makes it harder for Gordon to jump...
