Sound Card Problems

I have a problem where sound skips in certain games, and after changing drivers and trying with decreased sound acceleration i still have these problems. I was then told that it was because i have the word emulated in front of my card in DXDIAG. Below is a screenshot, any1 knw how to remove it?

i ahve a audigy 2 zs urs is showing up as a a800 mines a d400

but dx diag is showing up no drivers on yours the following infor is displayed on mine

and on the left mine is type : WDM whilst urs is emulated

try installing some whql drivers

where can i get the drivers from? i tried their site its rubbish

yeah their site is nagered

umm driver cd that came in the box not the demo cd or that other one but the one with the drivers on becuase they will be most likely correct, if u still having problems then u gunna hve to hack thru the creative site and get the dirvers off their :S

yeh i just installed from the cd again and their still seen as A800

but is it saying emulated still ?

A800 may be just a diff bios

check in device manager and in the drivers suround mixed and stuff run the diagnostics thing and it might fix it
