Which do you like more? I'm personally more of a south park kinda person, though I love the simpons too.

:dozey: Pssh Simpsons pwn the shit out of South Park.

Seeing as how I never say South Park, I vote the Simpsons! It would probably be the Simpsons anyway.

Simpsons all the way. I've pretty much been watching the simpons all my conscience life, but the new ones suck though

The Simpsons just needs to end. It's been on for far too long and it's getting kinda old and repetitive. Sorry, but I am not a Simpsons fan. South Park all the way.

I like the simpsons, but they've completely run out of material because of being on the air so long, which is why most of the new ones suck. South Park is still relitively fresh however, so I have to vote South Park on this one. Any show that hits 300 episodes is bound to be dry.

South Park is all about poop, fart, and puking!
The Simpsons is fantastic!

South Park. Simpsons is dying...

I would pick Family Guy though. But I don't know.

 Bah, should have added Family Guy in it too! It would have made me decide whether Simpsons or Family Guy was better. Also, they are going to make new episodes for Family Guy!

You people who are saying the Simpsons is getting old should be comparing the show as a whole... It isn't fair to say that Simpsons is getting old and South Park is still fresh, because for some of you, the Simpsons has been on TV longer than you have been alive! South Park has only been on for a couple years. I honestly haven't seen any of the newest Simpsons episodes, but within the 16 or so seasons (I don't remember how many there are now) that it has been running, there has been hardly a dull moment.

south park blows

its not even funny

Half Park is good though

Family Guy is the best creation known to man.

its better than anything that has been made, or will be made... that incudes a cure to cancer.

The fact that 4 people voted for South Park over The Simpsons is disturbing.

*shudders*

Southpark actually has some of the best social satire on TV today. The new episodes of Southpark are lightyears ahead of the new episodes of the Simpsons. If we were talking the Simpsons in seasons about 3-8 I'd say that is the better show. But today the Simpsons can't even touch Southpark.

I voted simpsons, but south park is an awesome show in every way. those who says its all about poop fart or puking have probably not seen enough of it :)

The Simpson of course. Actually there cannot be any debate over this topic, even if South Park is great. A good topic would be "Should they stop making new Simpsons episodes?"

nah, some of the new ones are getting alot better, they had a bad patch, but it looks like there back on track

Simpsons is still popular..? Southpark its goddam Hilamalarious at the moment., the Simpsons sucks lately, lol its so silly, one moment its quite serious, a few jokes.. then something totally random happens.. and its not even the funny kind of random  ., outta the last 20 odd episodes there was only a few that made me giggle a bit,.. the Halloween specials are the best:)

The Simpsons is way past its prime. Futurama needs to come back, that show is/was possibly the best cartoon out there (behind South Park, that is).

User name has modern tastes ;). Simpsons has outlived its long dragged out life. Homer's the only character keeping it alive some what.

Definately the Simpsons. "god smod - I want my monkey man" - Bart Simpson.

Cleveland: I heard that he doesn't just eat you, he eats YOUR SOUL!!
Peter: I heard that one of Shannon Doherty's eyes is off-center because its trying to ESCAPE!

**** the Simpsons and South Park i'm going with Family Guy

Hell Aqua Teen Hunger Force pwnz them all....

South Park is only funny to people entering puberty, Simpsons is funny to everyone.

South Park can be very clever and amusing. However, it just has not had me in tears like the Simpsons has.

I like to watch South Park when I can. But I'll make an effort to watch the Simpsons, even if it's just reruns. And you'll rarely hear quotes from south park (at least in my neck of the woods) that are about the funniest jokes. But the simpsons quotes are both more numerous AND more funny.

Homer is quite simply the funniest man ever.

lol its got a 15 certificate sometimes 18, I find it funny all the time,.. and im 19... what are you trying to say :D

theres only one or two episodes of the Simpsons thats ever had me in tears before... I think thats the one where homer does Pot to sort his eyes out. and the latest Halloween one where theres two decent sketch's the first one, and the stop clock one,, but the proffessor Frinks dad one sucked.

Homer 'was' quite simply the funniest Cartoon character ever

:E

I got kinda bored of SP after a while but they are still great to see once in a while :D

So I voted TS...

Homer is not the only one in Springfield who keeps the show alive:
The Comic Book Guy ("Oooh, I've wasted my life")
Moe
Professor Frink
Fat Tony and Johnny Tightlip (Fat Tony: "Johnny Tightlip, do you see anything?" Johnny: "I ain't saying nothin'")
Cosby (when he starts talking CRAZY)
Duffman ("UUUH YEAH!")
Ralph ("They taste like burning")
Milhouse ("But my mom says I'm cool")
McBain/Wolfcastle ("Laughing time is over!")
Mr. Burns ("O-hoy hoy", "You're a happy homer! What's your name!")
Apu ("Yes, I'm sorry but I do not speak english, okay!"
Woman: "But you were just..."
Apu: "Yes, yes, hotdog hotdog, yes sir, no sir, maybe, okay")

k I was being a bit harsh :P.... hmm Mr burns yes, and Comic book guy yes. as for others , not sure . but im saying that the story lines seemed strained out these days.

dunno depends how old you are I guess. but at my age the Simpsons is just not as funny anymore. generally... Bring Back Family Guy! and Futurama!.

Family Guy is a rip-off!
Has anyone seen the episode of the Simpsons (Halloween) where Homer clones himself? There's a scene where you see all these Homers standing on a big field, and as they pan through the huge pile of Homers you see the father from Family Guy standing there too! Matt Groening thinks that Family Guy is a pure rip-off and therefore he placed Hank (is that his name) there! HA! GREAT!

oh Matt Groening is God!, yes thats why I watch the Simpsons because of its past reputation of being the only funny series with yellow people on TV. :P, I think it was just poking fun at the simpsons, the punch lines are delivered so much better in FG too ... its just generally more random, which is the In thing these days anyway,, and when it is random,, its actually funny. :D.. compared to Simpsons randomness, where I swear the writers are on prosac, cause their random bits just make me want to slap my forehead, and say wtf!... > no laughter follows.. just bemusement.

South Park is aimed around 4 main characters only and you don't see much of the other characters, the Simpsons is based around 5 main characters and how they interact with all of the others in the show.

But Lenny and Carl > Cartman, Kenny, Stan and the other one.

Clarkey, your a bit late, entering puberty at that age aren't you .

lol, yeh well, it reminds me of my youth :D. but I know loads of people my age who think simpsons is on the slump, and would probably much rather watch FG or SP.

but we are in the UK, so what do we know, its a US series, which dare I say might seem a bit political as obviously its portray's American society and the humour more so than the British or rest of the world, FG and Futurama are too far fetched to compare, well maybe not family guy.. but im confused when it comes to these matters really :P
